Well, you'll probably notice that it's faster. Let's see, what else... The wifi can be switched on and off with a switch on the front. It has three USB ports, which are separate from the system board (which makes repairs much cheaper and easier). You can install more RAM in it. A lot of the parts are interchangeable with the 29 (for example, keyboards, WWAN sled, etc.), so that can make repairs even easier/cheaper/more convenient. That's just off the top of my head.

Model Number : CF-30KCP543M

MSRP : $2,200

Description: WinXP (Vista COA), Intel Core 2 Duo SL9300 1.60GHz (Centrino2), vPro, 13.3" XGA Touch, 160GB, 2GB, Intel WiFi a/b/g/n, TPM1.2, Bluetooth, GPS, Dual Pass (Upper:WWAN/Lower:GPS), Gobi, Emissive Backlit Keyboard, No Drive, Toughbook Premier-3Y
I have a CF-30MK2 but have a CF-30K on it's way now. My MK2 works great but what I did do was upgraded the memory to 4GB ($31.00) and installed a Samsung SSD (120GB $70.00) and it's super fast. I got the memory on ebay and the drive from newegg.com . When I get my new to me MK3 I have a new Samsung SSD + 4GB memory here now waiting for it too. For about $100.00 it's the best upgrade you can give it. It will cut your boot up time in half , every thing will run so much faster.
