For the fun of it while testing....
CF-19 MK2
CF-30 Leadtek GPS engine...cable out the side.
CF-30 Lid corner antenna...taped on

Running Google Earth via Ublox.

I had an empty Techtuff bump-out so now the antenna lives in there.

I was out of duct tape.

This is a view out the saddle-shop window looking nearly due west at Red Mountain. Overhead shows Bluerock on the right also visible out the window.
Firetruck is across the county road hidden behind the trees.

GPS limited to 7 or 8 bars by the steel roof behind me.

Hey Rob, I bought these GPS pulls when you worked at Proton.
