Hey guys.
So after 3 grueling hours, a splitting headache and a cramped up right hand later, Toughwiki is free of spam! I have deleted about 1500 bogus pages manually.
Next step?: We have a LOT of good info that we need added. How do we do this?: Well I'm not so keen on opening it back up to the public just quite yet. I was thinking that we could maybe elect a member that's already signed up there to have all the information sent to to be put up??
We can obviously start with what Paul (ADOR) has generously added via the links below:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1572
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1533
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1174
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1674 - Blair just started this today
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1645
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1146
Additionally, there are at LEAST 40 other threads with other info that I feel should get to ToughWiki such as (And this is a TINY example):
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1205 - CF-52 FP Reader
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1321 - CF-52 VS CF-53
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=853 - Windows 7 on CF-53 MK1
What do we do guys?
Thanks!

Re: The next step for Toughwiki.com - THOUGHTS NEEDED
I went to toughwiki from time to time but didn't know it went 1500 pages, unless they were "older versions" of the page. When I get caught up I will have more on some of the newer models, I will just have to sort out though what I have. With the 18's I had one of every model so I knew for sure what I had, with these other models I am working with what I have and what I read.

How about giving *write* access to ToughWiki to just a few selected members from this site? Put Paul, Blair, Jeff and a few others in charge of organizing and adding all the factual info there.

People that were already members have this. Yes, they can log in and change stuff.Springfield wrote:How about giving *write* access to ToughWiki to just a few selected members from this site? Put Paul, Blair, Jeff and a few others in charge of organizing and adding all the factual info there.
I can't simply open it up for ALL to edit. It's WAY too much work + we'll just end up like we were.

Lol!
Yeah, only about 1200 pages. Yesterday I deleted about 1500. Not quite as bad. I did verify everything else too though and once I'm done with this then we're GOOD. Nothing else.
Thanks!
