(Incase NBR IS DOWN)

Model number doesn't matter but just for drill CF-30CTQCTBM.

I recently installed Mint 15 on my CF-30 MK3. Made the tweaks for Touchscreen and have been running it for days.

Today while working on this MK1 with a known defective Touchscreen I used the drive from the MK3. Worked great....I thought.

With a new touch panel I was getting errors with Calibrate_Touchscreen.

Long story short I found the caddy for this unit and ran it. Touch was near perfect. Back to the MK3 caddy and it was off.

So....looking at the numbers it finally came to me....these are TOUCHSCREEN numbers. TABLET numbers are a lot lower.

Section "InputClass"
Identifier "calibration"
MatchProduct "Fujitsu Component USB Touch Panel"
Option "Calibration" "1718 15600 1905 15685"
EndSection

And this is a XP Bios....TOUCHSCREEN not TABLET. Bios and ec 20/17.

What I'm getting at is this:
For the Mark 1 (only) delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf and start over with calibration if you are swapping drives from a higher mark and getting errors.
As I figure it, the OS reads the 99-calibration.conf when loading the drivers (you told it to) and then reports numbers out of range. Typical computer behavior......completely logical.

Side note: CF-19 Mark 1 is like this too?

Little bit more....If swapping drives and the XP bios is not needed set the CF-30 MK1 to the Vista bios and ignore this.

EDIT:
Here's the numbers after swapping back to MK3 which thinks it's a tablet. The lower set. Copied from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf. I didn't delete the file thiis time...just ran calibration until the cursor touched where I was inputting. (five times I think) Believe it works this way since the Tablet numbers are inside the range of the Touchscreen numbers.
#Section "InputClass"
# Identifier "calibration"
# MatchProduct "Fujitsu Component USB Touch Panel"
# Option "Calibration" "1718 15600 1905 15685"
#EndSection
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "calibration"
MatchProduct "Fujitsu Component USB Touch Panel"
Option "Calibration" "303 3884 274 3949"
EndSection

END EDIT.
