I think you can use an Intel 4965AGN on this without connecting the 3rd antenna lead but someone else will need to confirm this!

Maybe I could just connect the G and the N?
Maybe I could add an antenna and route it to the palm rest?

I'm currently using an 11N PCMCIA card.

While an N series card will work using only two antennas, you will need the third (correct) antenna to get the most out of the card, in other words, the transfer rate that comes with true MIMO products. In order for the multiple transfer paths to work (they are then combined to form one stream), the third antenna will be needed......I think.
