I think you need the xp bios for the tscreen to work properly. I have a mk2 so I don't think I can help. I will look anyway...

You want the re-downgrade bios. I use the jp site. (Japan) This is bios L20 EC L17. http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/docs/01 ... &trn_org=2
There are two instances of this bios showing, housekeeping I assume. Use one or the other.

Touchscreen will not appear in the bios but will appear in HID in device manager as Fujitsu etc. and will be seen in All Programs under Fujitsu. Find calibrator there.

You will find all drivers for the CF-30MK1 at the above site, along with install instructions. I recommend running UPBIOS first. Allow your machine to install drivers in C:\util2 for continuity. Some drivers require a re-start others do not. When you are finished with the driver install as directed by install instructions it may require two re-boots to get all functional. (I don't know why) Along the way [F2]set to defaults and save.

Good luck.

There's a deal.

Run UPBIOS first.

Remember that L20 and L17 are for XPP. If you change to W7/Vista you must upgrade the bios again.

Jeff...good show Rob...

Don't like the price? :pat: Try contacting Panasonic and see if you can barter w/them. Or better yet, get your help and discs from fleabay. :D

You come here asking for help, which you got, and was offered a great deal on a restore discs (no shipping, customs, waiting, etc) and you come back with a lowball offer. :tool:

That is a great deal and they do work great. Have you tried loading XP on any Toughbook without one. I have and will never do it again. With the restore disk you are done in about 35 minutes.
