CF-52 MK2 WWAN/GPS options

I picked up a CF-52GFNBVAM that is WWAN ready. What options do I have putting in WWAN/GPS? If I remember correctly, I read that the CF-52 takes a Gobi1000 (no GPS) but not a Gobi2000 (w/GPS). I want a built-in solution, not really interested in CardBus or ExpressCard solutions. So is it possible to do? Thanks.

Okay, I guess my memory is not so good after all.

Thanks for the reply Rob.

I'm running a non-Panasonic Gobi 2000 on my CF-52GUNBR2M. I can tell ya how to do it for an exorbitant fee. :) That or you could buy a CF-30 from me someday.

ABOVE IS A JOKE.

I bought two cards from China that were sold as Panasonic. They weren't. In the end they were easier to deal with than the Gobi 2000 250 or whatever it's called. The Gobi GPS works fine in the CF-52. Not spectacular but good enough in the high country. (or flatland void of trees) Cities? I have no idea.

I still have it (CF-30) and the lack of pressure is dandy. Been working on a saddle.

Someday....like two weeks from now? ;)

I'll send you a PM later tonight or tomorrow. I am busy installing an OS and drivers into a CF-18KHHZXBW I got today.

Pressure is only good on a wound.

Picked up a Sierra Wireless MC8781 card at the electronic recycler for $5. Has voice, SMS and GPS. Need to get a prepaid sim card on payday to try the voice and SMS but the GPS works great. Inside the shop I get a lock on at least 8 sats.
