.44 special enough? My biggest three pistols right now is 45/70, .454 and .44 Mag. I have two other guns that shoot 45LC and have tons to brass in my reloading. Leaning more on 38/3357 combo if I get the judge in 45LC. I think the kids would like it more shooting 38's. I probably can shoot the .44 specials in the .44 mag though, have to see. It's not listed as it though as the other one is.

.44 Special w/19.5 grains 2400 and 180 gr jacketed hollowpoints. Borderline between bang and boom. NOT for vintage firearms. Used a Ruger .44 Mag Blackhawk. I hunted feral hogs with it. Dam accurate.

I've fired the big ones, that 45-70 was very accurate at 125 yds. Rookies could end up with another hole in their head from the hammer. I have a video someplace. W00t!

.38 wad-cutters until the kids get comfortable. Then .38+P HP. Don't scare 'em. Get the sights dialed in and then shoot at fired 12 gauge empties at 15 yards. Lay 'em down and shoot at the primer. Fun.

One time I helped cut a tree down with a saddle axe to retrieve a bear. My old recently deceased buddy shot him in the eye. He was on a USMC pistol team at one time. He would yell at you for using the term .45LC. Called it .45 Colt. Not trying to start an argument here. Stating it in his honor. My that man could shoot. Went on a horse-back buffalo hunt with him one time too. You ain't lived till you been chased by a bull buffalo. One snort, tail in the air and here he comes. I was the packer. Led two mules around all day. That bull had taken to chasing people for the fun of it. We hung him up and ate the whole liver about 10 P.M. with beans and sourdough biscuits.

I hope this story doesn't offend anyone. That bull would have killed somebody.

Reminisces of an old fart.

Jeff

OK, I'll put the list on your list. Mostly military type weapons.

I've been thinning the heard, dumping some handguns and AR lowers and parts, mags and such, stocking up on ammo of all sorts.

You can make a killing or AR parts right now. I have just been looking for some different ones. Broomhandle Mauser pistol is high on the list as are a few others. Most of my guns are WW2 era.

If there is some way to get the list before you go to the dealer, I would love to have it also as I have been buying a few lately. Trying to get what I want before I can't or before they are stupid money. I wanted a PMR-30 Kel Tec .22 Magnum supposed to retail for about $450, now try and find one for less than $900! Anyway, whatever format you can put it i would be great.

I just got back from the gun show in Monroe. They have gone off the end on AR stuff price wise. Even some of the older Smith and Wesson pistols have gone through the roof.

Yup, Prices and availability are becoming crazy on just about everything. I ended up doing an excell sheet on all my ammo so I'd know what I have and what I need. Some calibers, like 5.7x28, 300 blackout, and some of the factory supressed are getting hard to find. Still waiting on my other list and pictures............

Sent off another batch of cf-18s today, these to Nicaragua, last month some went to Guatemala and Honduras. Next months are going to south america, the cf-18s with Ubuntu have become a favorite of the orphanage teachers. Thanks again to ADOR and SADLMKR for help with these..

When I get this last 18 that I am working on headed to Germany I will probably send one more your way. Are you sending the 29's over?
