DOS on bootable USB key on CF-19 mk3

I'm trying to use a DOS 6.2 bootable USB key on the CF-19 mk3, but I can't get it to work! It just stays at the blinking cursor! The USB key boots up just fine on a CF-30 and a good few desktops at work so I know it does boot.

Can anyone let me know what I need to do? I already have the USB drive booting option in BIOS. Without the USB key in it just boots the SSD into Windows.

Have you tried the USB key on another machine? And do you have the right usb drivers for the CF-19 usb port you are putting the key on? I know I've had issues with DOS USB drivers at times. Just a couple thoughts...

Yes - I've tried it on a CF-30 and a few desktop machines, they all boot with the key.

My best guess at this point is that for whatever reason the usb port isn't seeing the key. On my CF-19 MK3 it boots fine with a win7 usb key. I've no idea whether or not it is a DOS boot though. I made the key following directions I found online and don't remember what the directions were.

Have you tried booting a different image (linux for example) from USB just to see if that will work? How about trying to boot from a different USB port on that machine.

I had the same issue but used the win 98 boot image and it worked fine

Hmm.. that's what I'm trying to boot and it just sits on the blinking cursor.

Hi Canuckcam

Will you try making your usb drive bootable with these files and instructions?
