Can you use a CF-18 bottom for a speaker?

no room Jeff. I was thinking that too. I think I will look into putting it in the lid maybe because they did use the LCD harness so I am guessing the speaker lines are still there...I hope. Will look under the lid tonight and see what kind of mess it is.

The speaker line is pin 19+ and 20-(ground) of the connector for Inverter, Ts and speaker. The white connector with 20pin. It easy to identify coz the harness has only connector that goes to the LCD, one is flat and other one is a 20 pin double layer type and that is the connector with speaker cable.

Blair! Base on the picture your LCD cable is unplug. Is it what it is when you open it up? If it is, No wonder why that there is no display on the LCD only the backlight ts are hook up.
It has the OEM LCD cable for cf-19 so plug the cable on side and see if it will have a display on the LCD.
I am just wonder, what the heck is on the other side with a connector block. The transparent one. Is it for digitizer? First time I've seen that type of connector on the inside of LCD.

I unplugged it when I noticed that it had 4 wires that had pulled out of the connector. My guess they tried to rewire it . I am going to pull the top off my cf-18 and see whats different. It is a touchscreen...the other day I was cleaning the screen and noticed that the pointer was moving all over the screen.

Blair! Does the four wires snap into the connector or the pin thin metal still there? If it is only unplug into the base connector. You still have a chance to hook it up properly but if not you need to have a lot of work or maybe change the whole Lcd harness.

The pin thin metal are still there inside the connector, the wires just pulled out of them. What I think I will do is use this in my shop untill I find a top and order a new lcd harness. I have a very good working CF-18 ;) now so no hurry on getting this 19 up and running. I have a CF-18MK1 that I think I might sell and put that towards a top.

Also will be picking up our package tomorrow and should have it ready for shipping wednesday.
