Just curious, but by any chance did you notice how much of the RAM was dedicated to the ATI card before/after you installed the new driver? I wonder if the Itronix driver cut the amount of RAM that was dedicated to the video card.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Ineptocracy: A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

No I did not, but I am still using the factory driver on my gobook 3 let me go check it out.

Both gobook 3's are showing 64 mb of memory. (Everest home edition)

My other two gobook 2's came in today if you were like me and grabbed any of the 7 dollar special on the non working ones. Didn't do too bad, both boot to bios, gps, one has PCMCIA cisco 350 the other M-pci cisco 350, 256 ram two batteries (testing tonight to see if they work). So right now I have a ton of left over parts out of 4 gobook 2's I plan to part out if anyone needs anything.

Mine didn't have batteries or battery covers. If your batteries work, let me know what you want for one or both ... (maybe with a cover too ;-)

Mine is at the post office so I will be heading over to pick it up today. Just hope it has the GPS in it, anything else is just a bonus :)

Same as me, but I asked them and both of them have the rubber gps bump on the side, now if it's is still inside as it should be it will all be ok.

Ok springfield I will let you know. I still need to test them out and see what I have good battery wise.

Right now just looking I will have ram covers, battery door covers, PCMCIA door (bottom) Pcmcia door (side) Cd drive door, most of them are missing the back door but I think I will have one left over then there will be some rubber covers.

Out of the now 5 gobook 2's that are floating around the house I am only going to keep one and deluxe it out, lol. I will keep the one gobook 2 and one gobook 3. After I get what I want out of them anything is game on them.

Got it...it has the GPS but no battery or door or the rear door but it did have the port covers so I am happy. For $21.00 we can't complain, look what they want for the GPS or the port covers on ebay :pat:

The only thing I am looking for is the door where the GPS goes. I pulled the GPS out of the last one I got and now its open. Found one a few weeks ago in Germany but the guy would not ship it to USA. It will come up sooner or later.

It's all ADOR's fault. I now have one of these lil' beasties on the way; everything I can see indicates it has GPS and TS. UPS sez it's halfway between Nawlins & Houston; ETD is Thursday by EOD.

We'll see when it gets here; hopefully I'll be done with my current project, an mpc All-in-One taken in during a hardware refresh which I'm trying to get set up as a Christmas gift for my 4-year-old son. If I'm lucky, he'll stop geh-bangin' on MY PC.
