It took a day or two before he got back to me, then he replied to me three times in the same day when I asked if anyone else has reported GPS problems.

Well I found out what was wrong. If the laptop does not see the harddrive or cd/dvd then the boot menu will not show up in the bios so that means I have to look at the motherboard. Will update when I look at the inside of it

They just posted some more of them $20.00 ones with the GPS (PCMCIA) in them . He only has 10...9 now

bugger... seems he doesn't ship outside the US. And ebay wont let me contact him...
toughasnails: Keep us posted, will ya? I'd love to know if the gps is compatible with toughbooks. I've got a MK4 CF-29 btw.

It should work into any toughbook even on the ordinary plastic laptop.

Go back and look at my post on the top of page 5. I tried the gobook 2 gps in a CF-18, found it no problem, even showed up as itronix GPS. All you need is the itrxgps.inf file and I posted a link to it.

I was not sure if you used your 18 or not when trying the GPS. Did you keep it in or were you just trying it out ?
