				Cleve---PM sent.
What I like about Zorin 12.1 is that everything works out of the box.
It's easy to figure out how to run and tweak it.
I do not NEED to use terminal. I can if I WANT to.
I like that I can set it up to work and look like OSX.
Even in the core edition, the included software is very impressive.
I did add Nemo to replace Nautilus for a file manager.

Shawn, thank you again. I don't even know what file manager I like. The one on LMDE and MX-16 work for me. I'll give it a go and let you know. PM's back at you regarding Elive Linux beta...more on that later to you and the left coast TDRHQ

Be careful about reading those manuals.

Not understanding why MX-16 would not install an iso.
I use dd more all the time.....It WILL write to where you point it. Hence the name Disk Destroyer.
Check out dc3dd. I haven't used it or read much other than that it was available.

Nemo makes things easier. It has a menu bar at the top. It also will open things in root with a simple right click.

Squirrel update. Got the dvd with Zorin in the mail (Thank you Shawn). Interesting, I had just returned from the post office sending you a usb. Decided to go for it and load it and install as a dual boot (something I hardly ever do). i really just need to search and purchase another drive caddy or two for the 53. It loaded slower than a usb (of course), and found my slow hotel internet connection once loaded. I ran the install per instructions, and once rebooted got some error messages that were sent to Zorin. I ran updates, and watched an old movie on TMC for half an hour until it finished. I lost my one finger scrolling, but find that now the two finger works. I'll have to play around with it some more, but on the 53JJ, it is quick. I do have a question regarding that program Etcher I see Zorin recommends. Is this a Debian system or Ubuntu? I want to download Etcher and try to get it to work. Anyone that knows how to install it properly on Zorin?
https://etcher.io/
Thanks again.

As far as I know, Zorin is Ubuntu based.
