From what I saw last night, looked like you did it twice :P

I use MS Streets&Trips 2006. It is happy to load on as many laptops as needed.

Yep, that's the dock I got.

The guy selling the keys is being a pain. Price is $14.95 for one key with free shipping, or make offer. So I offered $5, after all it's only a key. So they counter-offered $7 plus shipping. Sounding OK, a key will fit into an envelope with a simple stamp so maybe $1 for shipping, right? I give my zip code and they estimate shipping as $6.95, for a total of $13.95, would not budge.

Still have not bought a key, may have to go to a locksmith instead. Even if the locksmith costs more, tt's the principle of them jacking up shipping that burns me.

Around here somewhere I have a coke machine lock and key that will fit a CF-29 dock. With a little tune up.:D As my old friend said "there's more than one way to skin a goat". One of these days I'll get to it. Needs a hole drilled in the back end and a hardened roll pin driven in so as to reach the latch in the dock.

Yep got a DVD from another seller. It ran the Ubuntu CD just fine but have not tried the DVD part.

A while ago I was surprised to learn that in a combo drive the CD and DVD parts use separate optics so either can fail in a way that leaves the other functional.

I hope you all are having better GPS luck than I am with this unit. I set it in the window during the 8hr battery calibration and still can't get a fix, been out in the yard under clear sky, nada. I get it to work and stream data but it will only fix one satellite (26) can't get anything else out of it even using other gps test software. I am going to wait till the new caddy comes in and test the other unit I have to see if it can get a fix on the GPS. Over all I am happy with the performance of the laptop and will be hanging on to one. I played a couple of 720p videos with out any problems.
