changes between mark of cf-19
Re: changes between mark of cf-19
I gave up! on doing this Led backlight until I can find or design my own Led backlight inverter. Instead I installed the digitizer Lcd bezel and replace the glass panel from Cf-18 Ts glass panel. There is bit difference between the digitizer and touchscreen bezel of CF-19 MK1 and MK2 the front area of the digitizer panel is wider than the Ts model. As you can see on the picture there a bit black trim on all side or section of the screen but it perfect as like new. I have to sacrifice one of my cf-18 screen to do this but the end result is flawless and perfect. Who can now tell that my unit is a touchscreen model. Even the motherboard (MK2) is also digitizer too but it is now a native touchscreen model. Sorry to present you the lid cover as it is like from war and I applied some jb weld on it to hold it in place,Lol. Thats the toughbook still kicking the ass. Now! I am looking for an Lcd lid cover for cf-19Mk1 or MK2.

Re: changes between mark of cf-19
Rob!.. meat and toughbook met there once in a while, Lol. Anyway, Alex! did you install the San Nav sirfIII module on your cf-19. I've got a chance yesterday and goes well as plan. It exactly fit on the top side of the audio board with the connector of the module flush out on the board. Here is a few pictures that I have taken. Sorry! i only used my phone camera.
Rob! heres the CRAP again you will then see it on Ebay.
