fz-g1 SD card reader unable to install when LAN kit was taken out. help plz
1. so, we took out the lan kit
2. installed micro sd card reader on the fz g1 mk2 core i5 2.0 ghz
3. but SD CARD reader NOT getting recognized
SECOND SCENARIO
4. installed the same SD CARD READER on a different unit where there was NO lan kit previously
5. then the SD CARD reader gets recognized

1. Is the cable flipped?
2. To be recognized in bios the device must be grounded.
3. Bios set to defaults and saved?

Matt, as I said, it's a BIOS re-flash needed. This is intellectual property of Panasonic and we can do this for $165/machine for you with return shipping included.
