Hi guys,
i got two CF-52CCABVBG (MK1) from ebay. One starts with "Enter Password", is it waste of time...?
My second question is, on both CF-52 the fan is always running, is it normal for the MK1?
The working one is in very clean condition and has only 1370 hours accumulative operating time.
thanks in advance
Kermit

Re: CF-52 MK1 fan
Have you tried taking the HDD caddy out of the working one and try it in the other one?

Re: CF-52 MK1 fan
Check the ram.
Occasionally (on some units) the fan will run in bios and slow/stop when a OS is installed.
From Crucial Ram Finder: Either will work.

Re: CF-52 MK1 fan
just for fun.
Flip them over and open the wifi door.
Notice the very small board on the far edge of the opening.
Swap them from each machine.
Reboot.
