Swapping Bluetooth
Is the bluetooth in the CF-29 removeable or is it built on the motherboard? It is installed in my 1.2 and would like to pull it and install it in my 1.4 . I tried to look it up in my service manual but it does not list a bluetooth.

Re: Swapping Bluetooth
Removable, it goes on the same sled as the WWAN module. (If I remember correctly) I know the GPS and WWAN modules are on the sled for sure.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Are you talking about the sled that is on the left side above the battery held in with 2 screws. Mine did have it at one time but not now.Silver Trooper wrote:Removable, it goes on the same sled as the WWAN module. (If I remember correctly) I know the GPS and WWAN modules are on the sled for sure.

Per Toughbook in the other forum:
"It should be all assessable by removing the hinge covers and keyboard... Just remember to REMOVE your battery first! (I know... It goes without saying... But you'd be surprised!)"

Great . I was wondering if it was their or on the bottom . I am installing the Emissive Backlit keyboard today so I should be able to do it too.Silver Trooper wrote:Per Toughbook in the other forum:
