Okay, something broke the touchpad, reinstalled windows (they used their own Win7 Starter version which was full of bloatware 'n shit), installed the drivers one by one, and bam, after a reboot touchpad broke.. what now?

That's just a base unit model number...The zz is the thing that gives it away to me.
Boot with a live version of Linux and see what happens.
Check the bios to see if the Touchpad is enabled..
