Life's Journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn-out shouting 'Woo Hoo! What a ride!
Motorsports - the only real sport. If it doesn't have a motor, it is just a game.
There is always something waiting at the end of the road, if you are not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.

Jeff,
Check the 2nd post. It's the tab. The $526 was a gift so they didn't take any more $$$. We are a little shy.
I'm just going to assume that we aren't going to get the more expensive server since no one gave any input about it. We need about $100 more for the original plan
At this rate, the server will probably be ordered sometime this week!!!!
Thanks!

Been busy, busy. Got all 4 of the kids this weekend plus two, and been working on the truck.
I will look at those other server specs and compare them to the other ones.
I was hoping this would bump us up, thanks to everyone who donated parts on this.
ADOR: CF-30 Mk2, with battery, Caddy, 80gb hd, Media bay battery. Shipping by ADOR
Shawn: Power supply. Shipping? to be decided.
Toughasnails: Power/usb flaps Shipping ? to be decided
Springfield: DVD drive. Shipping ? To be decided
Mklym: 4gb Ram/ SSD drive Shipping RAM to be done by ADOR / SSD drive is to be shipped by Mklym.
If I missed anything or put a wrong name up let me know and I will correct it.
Now that this sale is gone, If we think we may want the other server I could also let go of one CF-19, but I don't think I have a battery, caddy for it. Would have to look though the pile of the 19's I have now. We can organize it a little better, lol. If we want to do this one let me know tomorrow and I will pick one out and we can start the bidding on it Monday till next Friday.
We really do need to decide if we want the future storage space, ISO files aren't getting any smaller. We may decide a few custom LINUX disks may be on the menus also.

Might as well upgrade big while you're at it. In a couple years you'll be kicking yourself if you don't go big now..
Life will beat you into submission.
Re: Equipment upgrade needed! Details inside. $1 donation
That's pretty well what I said, but I see I have been upgraded (?) to 'no one'.
Seriously, I think we should go for it.
