Re: cf-m34
Part number is CR2025/S5H . I can send you the service manual...give you a better idea where it is. Heartland services is where you can get one but the shipping charges will kill you. I can get the parts for you but I just got an order in so it will be another month before I place another order.

Pull yours and look at the end, lots of them swap out. Not long ago I swapped the bios batter from a CF-t7 into a CF-P1.

Pretty easy to swap the ends. I have become a fan of shrink tube to cover the solder joints. I saw a real electrician do it once and he used two sizes to double the protection.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

Re: cf-m34
You guys don't know the trick yet? Here is the detail. The plug connector on Cmos battery of CF-M34 has 3pin. It only use pin 1 & pin 3. Pin 2 is empty. When you have already a Cmos battery from other unit with 2pin plug. No need to cut it out or splice if it is long enough.
Just pull the cable from the plug by lifting up the plastic lock on it and then hook it to the othe same technique to the other. Here is the picture for you to have an idea what I am talking about. But be very careful not to damage the the plastic. Its pretty easy.
Sorry! my cellphone camera, sucks! Lol

Re: cf-m34
I remove the yellow plastic of the battery, then i remove the two metal strips that are on the battery. I use a screwdriver for this.
Then I get a brand new battery (CR2032 i think), put the metal contact on it, and get some plastic adhesive tape to put around it (to prevent false metal contacts). After that i plug it in my CF-M34, or CF-27/28 and voilas. CMOS battery replaced and my laptops run again for another 10 years with the correct time and date.
A new CMOS battery i sold in my town for 2 euros for a pack of 6.
