Yo Rick,

Can't I just copy your paychecks and forget all the copy work? Would be much easier for me, thanks.....

Oh, and I'm going to go ahead and take your car while I'm at it, mine is out of gas..

*what a box full of tools ebay is dredging up these days*

Sorry that happened Rick, but I LOVE how you handled him! Nice Job!!

I have talked with Tomcat (months ago) about adding a camera to the CF-29. It would be easy as a "one off" to do... But would be such a PITA to do on a multiple levels and sales. (And as you can see... It is not making him much money)

This is the same guy who copied, almost word for word, my auctions..... :blowaway: Going out of his way to take his pictures so they look like mine against a white sheet background. I called ebay and had two of his auctions taken down. (They agreed immediately that he copied my stuff) I had several of my customers email me (as stupid as this sounds) I really don't have time to check out the competition until it is pointed out to me. Every now and then I'll check. But this guy was on NBR a couple of weeks ago asking elementary questions.... NOW he is a pro? I don't think so!

There are a few who have been at this a LONG time. Most are also here on Rob's board. (For obvious reasons... They KNOW how to do this stuff!) There are several that do their own thing for their own reasons or for their own companies... I only compete with Teo, as far as I am concerned (Or know), on ebay... Everyone else is a poser. My apologies if there is anyone ele that I compete against. As I said... I don;t look at my competition as most time I look (Like at Zig77s auctions)... I just end up laughing.

"Now... With your next Ultimate Toughbook.... I'll throw in a new set of bluetooth luggage for you to haul around...." Sheesh... Too many posers.....
Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?

I know you don't compete with me as I a re-selling normal Toughbooks, not anything modified.

What I find as a hoot is that he went from asking $1,895 and trying to explain why it is worth that... Then he drops the price to $1,295... And STILL can't sell it.

Personally I don't think the guy knows how to do anything other than buy a kit and install... And ask more questions. Someone mentioned him as competition... I have NO competition as only my customers know what quality I deliver.

I obviously hold back some of what makes my Ultimate Toughbooks so Ultimate... Let's just say it is always better to under promise and over deliver. I have never had anyone that didn't absolutely flip out when they got their new Ultimate Toughbook.

This guy will burn himself.... No need for me to light him on fire.... But I will keep him on a short leash!

Thanks Doob! ;)
