Any special order to install drivers

#1 Post by toughasnails »

I was just wondering if their was any special order to install the drivers. My last CF-29C 1.2 I had the MK1 disk but this one is a CF-29H 1.4 MK3. I loaded XP Pro and the touchscreen then all the drivers but lost the touchscreen some where when I finished. Just going to start over and wanted to check first.

I don't have enough experiance on this
I usualy have the restore
But heres what I would do
Windows inc sp3
Chipset driver for the motherboard
Video if needed ,then sound
Then wireless switch if there is one,the wired lan should be loaded from windows
Updated driver for wi-fi
Hot key stuff
Last is the touchscreen

The last time I was on the Panny site, downloading all the drivers for my J model (for archive) there was a .pdf file listed called SOFT FIRST. Reading this .pdf file, it told me the exact order to install and how to intall. It told the whole route, from the compressed self extracting .exe, to the Util2 Directory. Then from there through .exe install or system devices.
It explained the UNKNOWN DEVICE and every step to correctly install everything.

If you need this I will be happy to send it to you. Let me know. I also attached it.
