Jeff, I'm on a CF-29EWKGZKM with 13XFCE and yes, the mouse is driving me nuts. Followed your mouse tweak and when I pasted the command into editor, I get this message in Terminal:
"toughbook@toughbook-CF-29EWKGZKM ~/Desktop $ sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse.conf
[sudo] password for toughbook:
(gedit:2104): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to store changes into `/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel', but failed: Failed to create file '/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel.D7WP9W': No such file or directory"

Wondering if I copyied / pasted wrong or do I need to add/change directory first?
Best regards, Cleve

I see that once in a while or similar. Don't know what it means but I have fixed it a couple times.
Or just ignored it. Permission setting may be an issue.

I'll pay more attention.

Hey Righty,
An explanation..in detail would be good.
1. Read my Post.
2. Ignored it.
3. Used info from the link.

Thanks,

Lefty

Lefty...followed the link below you provided:
https://sites.google.com/site/tipsandtr ... tk-warning
Went into Terminal (not so scary now that I've calibrated the touchscreen)
ran the script and then re-booted....problem solved, I think....
I'm on a MK5 CF-29 with working touch using Mint13 LTS XFCE, and while typing this I have a movie running "Generation Kill", it's in the top half of the screen and TBT is in the bottom...The guy from Craigslist did not show for the showing/selling so going to put this up for sale on the site...Thanks Jeff :headbang:

I use these directions from time to time. Am on a MK3 CF-28 with older version of Navigatrix 0.4
(Ubuntu 12-13ish) and would sure like to speed up the mouse. Any thoughts or CF-28'ers using Linux?

I'm on a CF-29LTQGZBM-B (THANK YOU MORGAN)
Going to follow the linkage, and then install LMDE2Betsy (Debian Stable), reports to follow.
I know everyone else has a 30 and or a 31 with a SSD SATA drive, but there are plenty of these babies out there...
Thanks to Lefty for keeping on keeping on....
