Re: Cool Web cam in a CF-29
Well... I just turned the bastard in for copying my listings almost word for word... The same font, color, word tracks... You name it. Ebay yanked his auctions... He has one left up that didn't look like mine. I take this shit VERY seriously as it is what pays my bills for now. The guy tried to tell...

Re: Used Batteries
How did you reprogram the chip inside? That is what tells the batteries how old they are and how much charge to take. I have rebuilt several CF-28 batteries to no avail... You must be able to reprogram them or the new batteries are wasted. The only way that I know around this would be to replace the...

Re: Where is everyone?

Re: Loading Ubuntu Linux on a CF-18
I'm assuming that if I am running Sidux that this will all work for me? At present I am still trying to get XP to boot first instead of Sidux... can't seem to get a straight answer. I know I need to edit the boot/grub.edit.lst file.... But with what??????????? Now I know how my 76YO mother feels whe...

Re: Modded CF-18 with GPS
What kind of GPS NAV software is available for Linux/Sidux? I would think (hope) it would be free as everything else with Linux seems to be.
Anyone?
Anyone?

CF-18 Dual Boot Sidux/XP Pro
Well... I bit the bullet and did a dual boot with Sidux and XP Pro. Sidux is very cool and very similar to XP in a lot of ways. I used Picoshark's guide (Thankyouverymuch!) on the NBR thread and is all went exactly like he said. Of course there are subtle differences between that build date and the ...

Well... I was ging to yell at Rob for posting about a Dell... But..... I was talking with the guy I bought the CF-18 from and he said he had a buch of Itronix GoBook3's for sale on ebay. I poked fun at them and he said where he worked that they performed better than even the Toughbook. I told him I ...

Modded CF-18 with GPS
Well... I'll start the ball rolling here for the heck of it. Since the economy has tightened everyone's wallet these days... I was wondering about licensing on my IGuidance software. I prefer IGuidance only because it has big buttons that are very touchscreen friendly. Unlike Sreets & Trips that...
