Thanks!
And the fact that the G1 Mk4 has a M.2 SSD instead of mSATA.
Do you know which ssd model they mount?
My Mk4 had a Toshiba 128GB SSD, not sure of exact model.

Re: FZ-G1 fan noise - is it controllable?

Speaking of which, do you have the Power Plan EX installed? It has a option for a slow or normal fan speed, I have mine set to Slow and even then I just leave the fan off most of the time.

Re: FZ-G1 fan noise - is it controllable?

Nope, only way to disable the fan is by (ab)using the Concealed Mode.

Re: cf-52pfndx2m warming while boot

I bet it must be because the SSD doesn't have a temp sensor, causing the 52 to think the SSD is stuck at a super low temperature.

Re: Toughbook for computer forensic use

I'd get a 54 if you're not doing any rough field work like working in the rain.

"illegal material" = CP, warez and all that? IT Forensics sounds like a interesting job!

Just use Tor, all VPNs are inherently backdoored by the NSA et al.

Weird, have you checked the drivers folder on the root of your C: drive?

Re: CF30 Win7

Try closing the command prompt window when it gets stuck, works for me.
