Super interesting but does this do anything other than simply LOOK like OSX? I love how OSX integrates with other Apple devices. And I want my Aperture software back too for photography. I mean that alone is almost cool enough, but I am greedy and want more!

I may do that... I put buying anything on hold though until I get past getting the HDD configured right for the installation to take... That has proven a bit tricky and then I got distracted with new cool projects to poke at!

Ador sent me some goodies to play with including another CF-30 drive caddy. I also now have a CF-31 caddy. It is quicker to pull the drive out of. At one point somebody on NBR had either made or found adapters to plug into the Toughbook caddy connector and connect to USB or something without pulling...

I did one better and swapped the motherboard into a better case and left the GPS out lol I had a burnt LCD and a super beat up case anyways. I want to say it is all sorted out now? Oh, my theory on the issue is that the HDD isn't correctly configured for the older OSX partition type. I have had this exact same problem before when I did the recovery and OSX reinstall on my MacBook. So quick access to the drive itself is going to make this much easier of a project to tackle.

No problem, I am getting there myself... LOL! Still it is a problem that is worth solving while dealing with other things. Kinda like living with squeaky brakes. While I am mostly focused on hackintoshing this, I do have a mostly working W10 install on another drive. I am trying to find a one click driver bundle for it on 'doze to sort out a few minor issues under windows. Is this out there? I didn't find it...
