I set a password on my cf-30 mk-2 and tried all the common types and no go

The message is from the cpu upgrade no doubt
Windows detected a hardware change and it requires a reactivation

I recomend the cheap way
Use a usb gps as it's $50 or so and uses up 1 usb port on the docking station
The docks that have an antenna breakout for a builtin gps are much rarer

There really are not too many drivers to download for your model, so in your case the restore disks are not that important

You can modify disk one as discribed here

Or you need to find an OEM windows 2000 disk,use the key that you have on your cf-28 , and manualy load the panasonic drivers

1-sure its CF-30 , why do you think its for a cf-28 ? its a black keyboard is it not
2- not positive but I think that was the keyboard's I sent to you years ago,for a cf-29

I have had a cf-18 mk-5, and cf-74 mk-1 touchscreen fail on me

It could be the touchpanels time to die
