Turns out that they fibbed me when they said you could not hook directly to the Ethernet port,did that and ran thru the sharing permissions and it works. It is it's own network only accessible thru the desktop with the seagate OS software so everything is groovy. :D

9 TB of storage.

Won't work Bill,the Nas has to be plugged into the router and that's in the house. There is no way to access the NAS operating system that I know of except off the router wirelessly to my desktop. But I want the NAS out here and not inside. I could be all wrong but that is my understanding. I also h...

I guess I'll just run the wire from the camper,no frost here grasshopper. :D stays above 40 F all year.100 ft of cable is cheap so I can route it overhead.
