On the tougbookforum of notebookreview.com i posted a topic about using an external cd-rom on my cf-m34 mk2. It seemed that the bios i had, did not have the option of using the external usb diskdrive. The original bios of my cf-m34 was V2.02L14 M30 So, i tried to flash my cf-m34 with BIOS v201!11!12...

My CF-m34 mk1 only has the modem and USB port. Can i swap the connecter board of a CF-m34 mk2, that also has the network port, and put it in the CF-m34-mk1 ?

Are the parts of the difrent versions of the CF-m34 exchangable at all ?

I can buy some 30 Cisco aironet 350 series (AIR-LMC350) for dirt cheap. they are all the PC version (but with the PCMCIA card on it). only disadvantage is the low 10 mpbs speed. I am receiving 11 CF-m34s this week. All working well, but with heavy used outer shielding.... Silver Trooper, you used Spray paint / Rattle cans. Could you tell me, if the paint is still perfect on these CF-m34s, or has it started to crumble/let loose ? I also intend to use spray cans for painting ...
