No, don't think there's any magic in a pistol tube, I've used three different ones depending on what I could find, though I admit the last cheap one I got not long ago was packed with some grit or sand in it, weird. Expect about 30-40 bare tube or 60-70 with spring and buffer.

we must be on different links. go to slickguns.com. most uppers are in the 400 dollar range, a nice 16inch dissapater $449.00, and high end uppers like lmt are only $511. I just put togeather two 9mm ars, 5" barrels, pistol configuration with sig sb15 braces on the tube. cmmg dedicated 9mm lowe...

Thank you, i will try that tomarrow. Sucks having to go to the car ten+ minutes early each day as i have to be logged on portal to portal, so cant pull out of the driveway till logged on the cad.

Sorry, been away for a while, summer was brutal for my group, and on top of that I got transferred to a new assignment and am now back having to work for my pay. The up side is I got issued a cf-31 to use, and was told the f11 key isn't working at the moment, but in a few weeks when we go to Premier...

Not sure if you want to add to the guide, but the 11 cf-18 I got recently all had what appeared to be factory installed smart card readers in the bottom pcmcia slots.
