Re: GoBook lll 260+
I got the caddy in it, and testing out usb booting right now. Got it to boot to my pendrive Linux usb (older version based on Mandriva 2007) I will try Ubuntu 10.10 later tonight. Loading windows xp later on via usb DVD drive next. Pen drive Linux found Bluetooth adapter, so I am guessing these mode...

Re: GoBook lll 260+
Mine both have nothing there, BUT on my gobook 2 there is a daughter card that has a pcmcia slot and 3g cingular card in there. The gobook 2 was a Bellsouth model. It has bellsouth logo on the ft and it has bellsouth at the bottom of the factory sticker on the back. Reading up on the gobook 3 today ...

Re: GoBook lll 260+
I am guessing you are talking about the Gobook 3's on ebay for 40 bucks plus shipping. I picked up too. I just got home from work last night and looking through them today. The GPS should be located in the bump that is on the top of the display. It seems the standard models have flat lid. I got one ...

Re: Android x86 on touchscreen CF-27E
I have messed with Android X86 some, touch screen worked out of the box with my CF-T5 dual core, but didn't with my CF-29. I have had too many projects going on to get back to it to get it all worked out, You can dual boot with it and that is what I had planned for it.

CF-18 Dead Motherboard
I have two CF-18's I am working on that I think have dead motherboards. Neither will power up at all. No lights or beeps or all. I have tried power up with a good charged batter and original Panasonic charger that I use regularly. What are the common (if any) connections and motherboard failures wit...

Re: Server Question
It's been in the 140's with the heat index. It was 98 degrees when I got off the plane at midnight on the way to work a month ago. The heat will peak this month or the next. I have worked in the middle east for around 5 to 6 years now, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc. Dubai isn't what it's cracked up to be...

I would like to have one that has plenty of ram 8gb+ has dual, dual cores. I have seen some good prices in on some IB...

Re: Help cf-30 f mkII password locked bios Unlocked rom needed
I have heard they are very hard to get into. Look up a program called KillCMOS, look for other threads with that in it. Maybe point you in the right direction.
