Re: GoBook lll 260+

Only problem with this is he seems to not answer the emails...from what I have heard. One way or the other I want my money back or another 260+ ...maybe :) It took a day or two before he got back to me, then he replied to me three times in the same day when I asked if anyone else has reported GPS p...

Re: GoBook lll 260+

Well you can rule out one of the caddy's being bad, sounds like something on the board is bad or locked out. Have you tried booting from a usb live cd/dvd to see if you can get anything out of it or if that option is locked out. If you think you need any parts and anything internal from a gobook 2 w...

Re: GoBook lll 260+

Both of the ones I got looked pretty good. I asked them if anyone else had asked about the GPS problem and I got a very good reply out of them. Maybe they will swap it out for you since it won't see the harddrive. When I swapped harddrive caddy from the units I didn't have to do a thing to them sinc...

Re: CF-19 WWAN Question

Thanks Rob, This will help in my decision later on if I want to upgrade to wwan, gps, rubber keyboard later on, or just get a different unit with this already installed.

CF-19 WWAN Question

My CF-19 MK1 came in today. I still need to round up a few things for it, but I was comparing it side by side with one of my CF-18's. Does the CF-19's with WWAN have any kind of external switch to turn it on and off like the CF-18's do? Just thinking about my upgrades right now.

We know it will fit because ...
