Re: Which battery?
The one you need is the yellow tab battery. I don't have the spec with me right now but I believe the yellow tab one is 7.8Ah vs 6.6 for the blue tab battery.Silver Trooper wrote:Which is the best battery for the CF-29? What color tab and what Ah?

Re: Getting Windows 7 to work on a Mark 1 CF-30
Actually the "Pseudo Tunneling Device" mentioned above is actually the "Teredo Pseudo Tunneling Device". It is used with IPv6 and is needed if you want to use the Homegroup feature of Windows 7. The driver for this is normally installed when you install the drivers for the WLAN o...

Re: bios password
Not the TPM. It is a M25PX32-VMW6E. IC 27 on the board.
For sure not the first but rather maybe the first to say anything.

Re: bios password
I DID IT!!! I finally got around the BIOS password. What I had to do was remove the BIOS chip, burn a copy of a virgin BIOS file to another chip and reinstall it. Not for the faint of heart but it is doable. Now I just have to figure out how to write the model and serial numbers into the BIOS. Mine ...
