Re: Brand New CF19CH
Well, Mk1 and Windows XP do complicate things. There aren't any drivers except bluetooth on the Panasonic site. I checked Panasonic Japan, they have wireless lan also. Maybe Shawn or Rob might have some ideas. You might need to p.m. them. Good luck

Hello and welcome.
What is the full model number, and what OS are you using? I was just looking at the Panasonic support site at the one click driver bundles and I didn't see one for a "C" model.

Re: Windows 10 certified CF-31?
We have a Mk1 at work that I put 10 on. Worked fine for a while, then got slow, then WiFi would intermittently stop working. I tried using a usb WiFi dongle, same result. I wiped the ssd and reinstalled 7 pro, internal WiFi works perfectly again and speed came back to normal. It must not have liked ...

Re: CF-D1 specific forum in TBT
Yeah I'm curious about them. I don't have a need for one, let alone the extra 8 or 9 of my other varietys. I am curious though. Seems no one in the US has any.

Re: Mouse pad stopped working
Go to settings, devices, touchpad. Make sure it is toggled on. There are keystrokes (hot keys) in windows that can turn stuff on and off. My wife has disabled keyboard, mousepad and WiFi on her corporate laptop, without knowing how it happened.

Re: Mouse pad stopped working
Have you tried an external mouse? Check device manager and see if the driver is still there. Try reinstalling driver from Panasonic site. I will take a look at my 20 when I get to work tomorrow and look around at settings. Let’s hope it’s not the mb.

Re: CF-19 Mk 8 vs CF-31 Mk 5
As someone who owns 10 different Toughbooks, including a CF-31 Mk4, having both might not be a bad thing. You can see which is best real world. Then sell the other one. Or keep it like the one ring that rules them all. They are happier when they have family.

Re: Newbie with problems says hello!
Hey Chris, happy to help. Sometimes the forum just scares the toughbook into acting right. I had a CF-H2 that I couldn’t get 7 reinstalled on. I posted my problem and the next day it went flawlessly.
Take care
