Re: CF-30K (Mk3) and W7-64 Question
This Mk3 was originally shipped with MS Vista (YUCK), do they offer a restore disk for a 30Mk3 for W7-64? The Part number for this machine is: CF-30KTPEQAM If so, would you please let me know so I can put a post of the B/S/T forum. The S/N would be no problem what so ever. I will be installing VM Wa...

Re: CF-30K (Mk3) and W7-64 Question
Guys, Update on the W7-64 install on the 30Mk3.... I used all the W7-32 drivers that I downloaded from the official Panny site. All hot keys worked, except that when screen brightness was reduced using Function + F1, it would stay at the reduced brightness intil the cursor was moved then it when bac...

Re: CF-30K (Mk3) and W7-64 Question
Shawn and safn1949, Thank you both for your time and replies; it is very much appreciated. @safn1949 I have downloaded all the TB30Mk3 Win7-32 drivers from the Panny driver site. Guess I will see what happens on Saturday. Heck the worst thing I can image would be that, if all else fails, I will star...

Re: WTB CF31 Shoulder Strap
Rob, Yes, you are correct, I do live in the Woodland's and have visited the Magnolia, TX Rugged Depot office to pick up the empty 31 HDD caddies almost a year ago. Looking forward to making another short drive out to the Magnolia, TX Rugged Depot office here in the VERY near future to purchase the c...

WTB CF31 Shoulder Strap
All, Looking to purchase a shoulder carry strap for my 31. I would envision that it would be very similar to the one that I had, back in the day, on my 19Mk5. On the 31 chassis, it looks like the mounting holes/screws for the "D" rings are on the hinge end; unlike on the handle end of my o...

Re: Bios Hour meters on TBs Question
mklym & sadlmkr, Thank you both for your quick replies gentlemen, it is very much appreciated. With your replies, and after thinking about it..... I'm guessing that the hour meter reading is based on the bios not the OS. So the number of hours on a tb are based on how long the bios at a minimum ...

Bios Hour meters on TBs Question
All, Good evening. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know it is a silly question..... If a TB is put to "sleep" or "hibernate", within Windoez, does the bios's hour meter continue to count? Thank you all for your time. Have a great evening and a good week. Respectfully, Nick
