currently having "partial successes" with implanting the correct ME region via hexedit from a dump image into a upd image. "partial successes" in the sense that fwupdlcl thinks its valid and only the me chip aborts later on, at stage 4 of 19 ;-) but yeah, I'll most likely have to...

after about 130 to 150 attempts, I think I can safely assume that I'm barking up the wrong tree with FWUpdLcl64.exe. I think I need to look into flashrom, maybe using an external programmer. I'm pretty confident that I can unbrick most damage that I could do with an external programmer. I am not ver...
