Just bought another Mk3 so will most prob be selling the Mk2 and use the other Mk3 for parts or sell it off too...

this boots up just fine, but BIOS password protected. If anyone needs parts let me know or you can buy the whole thing... no battery, HDD/caddy, powercords...

Looking for an Intel 6200 wifi card for my CF-52 Mk3. Of course it needs to be genuine OEM from a Toughbook, don't need compatibility issues. yes he did, I should of researched a bit more, I thought it could of been bypassed. It came with WWAN(sp?) card that I put on my Mk2 as well as 2GB ram. It boots up just fine just no wifi (I thnk its shut off in the BIOS)

UPDATE- had some time on my hands so swapped in the 2GB ram from the M3 into my Mk2- works great and can see an improvement in the Mk2 (I know have total of 4GB). going to research some more on the GOBI...

I just removed a Qualcomm with CE0168 on the label from a CF-30 Mk3 (see sig for model).
I am guessing it is a "1000" card?
I plugged it into my Mk2 but can't see it in Device Manager, do i need to find the drivers or is it because of no SIM card?

So bought a Mk3 with a bios password thinking I could of reset it but no matter what tried it wouldn't work. I did plug my HDD from my Mk2 and it boots up to Win7 with no issues. So- I now have a Mk3 but it doesn't have WiFi :wtf: I decided to use this as parts for now and swapped the Gobi card into...
