FIRST what is the bios and ec? If it is a XP bios it needs to be switched to Vista and I can't find the XP > Vista file anymore. I turned to the all-knowing google, turns out it's Fn-Z. It threw me off because I thought that combo brought up the on-screen keyboard. Darn lack of sleep......

So an update: The CF-U1 is running well on Windows 7 Pro, got everything installed and working except for one thing. Is there anything I need to do to make the keyboard light up? I tried using it in the car last night and the keyboard never lit up.
