Well I hate to respond to my own post but I just called Heartland, and while super nice, they could not help me. They told me that they could find no model number for my CF-29. They could not even validate the S/N I listed in the post above as valid, correct or incorrect. I am certainly not blaming ...

How did you reprogram the chip inside? That is what tells the batteries how old they are and how much charge to take. I have rebuilt several CF-28 batteries to no avail... You must be able to reprogram them or the new batteries are wasted. The only way that I know around this would be to replace th...
