OH,
It really likes to poop when I have heavy traffic going, streaming video and surfing the net. It's been fine wile i've been on just my boards, but if I fired up facebook and youtube, it would disconnect. I just thought it worth mentioning.

Re: Possible intermittent short on the mobo?
Eh...Do you think it's drivers screwing things up? I unistalled the proset and am using xp sp3 drivers with the 2100 right now (having problems). I also had assumed the 8206 was shorted/toasted from the rf cover. I'll try the 2200 drivers with this card and see how it goes. LOL, I don't know where t...

Possible intermittent short on the mobo?
Hey guys! Hope you all have been well. I'll get right to it: CF29CWKGZDM I've done a few mods to my baby, and everything was running great! Reinstalled windows several times (regular maintenance) and what not, and never really ad and unidentified problem, until recently. I had installed an Enginous ...

My 29 mk1 is still chugging along pretty well, but I do need a couple parts. I'm looking for a media pocket cover power port cover and backlit chicklet keybo...

Re: I Some Help on a Toughbook CF-29HTM50BM
yeah, if you did the oem image, then the touch drivers should be right. i'm no sure if there is a setting in the bios or not (dunno,I've always had touch in my 29), but you should check to make sure it is indeed enabled. then.... go to start>control panel>mouse>touch screen>test. try to trace the ed...

OOH
rustoleum textured silver is pretty damn close to the original panny color/texture. Panny uses a 2 part epoxy, but for $8/can, this will do ok for 12 months at a time.

Re: I Some Help on a Toughbook CF-29HTM50BM
You can't install just 1 or 2 drivers on these units, AFAIK. You have to install all (most?) of the drivers, and IN ORDER (not yelling there, but stressing importance). It has to do with the way the drivers check the registry for existing values and add their own appropriate value(s). The OEM images...

Sandisk 32gb SDSA4AH-032G, and an HTPC and MP 2nd HDD
I'm putting together an HTPC*, found these http://www.ebay.com/itm/200904852853?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and decided to get 2; one for my HTPC, and one for maybe my CF29. I've been having more and more trouble with my 29/Hitachi 160 sata/adapter. I figured with this ssd...
