Alex, I kinda recall another member using a utility that can adjust the power of the Plus S cards. Wouldn't that work on W7 or Vista as well?

I installed an speaker into lcd housing of cf-18 and it works I think better than the original sounds okay... so here's my dumb question of the day. Besides marginal(?) improvement in sound quality, is there another reason for modding the LCD bezel to accommodate a speaker and what type of speaker ...

Hi all, I finally decided not waste more time troubleshooting a faulty non-boot 1.5ghz CF-50JAKUJKE. Thanks to those who did chipped in on the NBR thread . Instead, bought another... CF-50HB2FUDM (1.6ghz UXGA) from fleabay. No optical drive, no caddy, no ac adapter but fortunately, a working battery...

urm... does the 600mWatter suck the daylight out of the batt. I suppose you're using the external RP-SMA antennae as well?
