HDD Caddy Question
I purchased a replacement hdd caddy and hdd in order to swap drives on my CF 18 Mk5 but the new caddy and connector didn't have the little jumper plug with the red and black wires. Being a NUBE I have no idea what this is and if I need it where can I get one? Any info would be greatly appreciated. T...

How did you set the option plug ie master, slave. or cable on the SDD I don't recall adjusting any jumper out of the box, maybe I didn't notice that. But I'm pretty sure Panasonic laptops need both HD and CD to be set to Master. Sounds good to me, unless I hear different I'll give that a shot Tnx Jim

I've put Transcend in CF-18 and CF-29 with good results. If you're using Win XP, be sure to load CCleaner and go to the lowest tab Tools then check Erase Unused Space (or similar) ;-). Its like TRIM for Win7 and keep the SSD running fast. Thanks for the tip, good info.... How did you set the option...
