Well I got the drive installed and it would read the external cd/dvd however it wouldn't launch the exe so I had to resort to a differant version of windows and now I am trying to get everything to work. I will let all you folks that helped me so far know it goes.

Ok So I chaged the drive out and it was a nogo . The hard drive came from a working laptop with windows 7 ultimate from an undisclosed source. I checked and can feel the edge also wondering if the digital pen would be worth looking into?
As I said earlier I just got this so I'm going to change over to a SSD hard drive and bumping the ram up to 4 gig's
