Yes, indeed. But I have the opportunity to buy used modules from a coworker for a fraction of new ones, so I could give it a try. However, I want to know the feasibility of doing so before trying it.

Teo, I reseated the flat cables and still nothing happened. F11 is a capacitor, right? it seems to be firmly soldered to the motherboard and doesn't shows any signs of being damaged.

Teo what exactly should I look for beside SD connector?

I reseted the BIOS to default, take out the HDD connector and installed again and plugged the caddy without the black plastic in the front to see if was a bad connection problem. Nothing worked....

ADOR: I installed another hard drive in the CF-30 caddy and still nothing. How do I reset the BIOS to default settings? Shawn: I don't know for sure if it is a Chinese caddy, but I suspect it is, I don't have any other to compare. I've swapped the "Y" cable connecting the caddy and the mot...

ADOR: I'll try to find another good hard drive and see that happens. I'll report back as soon as is done.
