Re: What is this device?
Thanks Nick! That worked great for my Mk5. I notice that there is no bundle for the Mk1 though? I am having a similar problem with my Mk1. Its a CF-19CHBL2BM also running Windows 7 Professional. Why is there no bundle on the Panasonic website for this machine, and any idea's? If I download and insta...

What is this device?
This is probably another newb question, but I have been struggling with it for a couple of hours, so now I'll ask the pro's: I have an "unknown device" in the device manager, and from the hardware ID I get the following: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0103&SUBSYS_833810F7&REV_09 PCI\VEN_8086...

Lose Gobi connectivity with OS change?
I am currently running 32 bit Windows 7 on my CF19 Mk5 with a Gobi2000 and Verizon wireless. If I instal windows 7 64 bit will I lose my Verizon until I reset the computer with them, or does the service "reside" on the Gobi itself? I am not in a position to take the computer to Verizon rig...

Re: Windows 10 on CF-19 mk5 (success)
Now that you have had Windows 10 installed for a while, how do you like it? I keep getting the pop-up's offering to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free, but I'm not entirely sure that I want to do it. id you do your Windows 10 installation from the dowloaded upgrade, or from a disk?

GPS - How do I use it?
All, I have a CF-19CHBL2BM that I recently acquired. It decodes having a factory GPS, and it has the little block shaped antenna cover next to the hard drive bay. I have removed the screws and the wires underneath the cover are definitely connected to something inside the computer. How do I use this...

Re: CF-19 Only one RAM slot?
Thanks for all the input guys. I am running windows 7 32 bit, so i think I'll just order a 4 GB card and be done with it. I think the problem is physical to the computer and not worth pursuing any more since I can only support 4 GB RAM with a 32 bit system anyway. Thanks again!

Re: CF-19 Only one RAM slot?
Karl Klammer - Thanks for the interest in helping me out. I'll have to admit that some of that went a little over my head. To your questions: 1) I have a Centon CMP800SO2048.01 2GB chip. I'll check the other one tonight. However, NEITHER card works in the bottom slot. 2) I get none of those beep cod...

Re: CF-19 Only one RAM slot?
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I already tried that. Either RAM card will work in the good slot. Neither RAM card will work in the bad slot.
Any other ideas?

CF-19 Only one RAM slot?
Greetings to all. I am a new member of the forum, but I have owned several Toughbooks over the last several years. I currently have a CF-29MK1 that I have done fair bit of modding to and a CF-19MK5 that I use as my work computer. I recently bought a CF-19Mk1 for use in my garage and that is the comp...
