Re: Addition of EM7455 into FZ-G1 without factory installed WWAN
Usually Panasonic is good about providing all the connectors and wiring to accommodate upgrades, such as the WWAN module you want to put in, they've shown that on the CF-19 series. Like the RF switch board you mentioned, it's there for upgrades or factory installed stuff. Pretty much every CF-19 out...

Re: "New" Full Ruggedized Notebook or Tablet: Currently CF-31. Somewhat better with USB3 and support of large hard drive
My theory on the XGA resolution still being around is that it makes it easier to use with gloves on, probably wrong though. If you're looking for a tablet toughbook, maybe look for a Toughpad FZ-G1. It has native USB3 (only one port though :damnit: ), has a 1900x1200 touchscreen, and they're coming ...

FZ-G1 Dedicated GPS Problems?
Finally got my hands on a G1, model number is FZ-G1ASK4CCM. It's been an awesome little toughpad so far, (I've only had it for 3 days). Pretty much the only problem I have with it is the dedicated GPS system. I can't get a solid lock on any satellites. I've been testing outside in clear sky conditio...

Re: Delivery Driver ideas?
FZ-Q1 is my suggestion So oddly enough, I found a Toughpad FZ-G1 on eBay for a decent price. The unit looks good, but can someone decode the model number? The old configurator doesn't have it at all, and the official Panasonic configurator brings up models that are too new. The model number is FZ-G...

Re: Delivery Driver ideas?
FZ-Q1? Is that android or windows based? I'll admit I'm not too familiar with Toughbook tablets. I mean I'm familiar with the whole CF series of models, but the tablets are something i really haven't understood yet. Almost like learning a new language, it's completely new to me.

Delivery Driver ideas?
It's been a while since I've been on here, but I'd like some advice. I'm now a delivery driver for Papa John's, and I was wondering what Toughbook solution I could go with. Right now I use my phone for GPS, which is OK, unless I have to call a customer and plot a route for my next delivery. It's a h...

Re: Windows 7 on a CF-19MK1
It's been a fair bit since I've posted, sorry been through a lot lately. Anyways, I'm not sure if I'm helping too much here but on the Panasonic Misc Driver install step, on my 19 MK1 I needed to go to System Devices and find the "Generic Bus". That's the Misc driver that needs to be updat...

Re: CF-19 Model number + Question
Don't worry about the hijack, that is an important tip to share for sure. I might just look for a 30, I'd love a 31 but sadly they are still a bit out of my current price range
