Re: What is the model of CF-33?
FYI, the "Quick release" wasn't a "standard option" on any "normal" CF-33. They are all internal. As I said, they are 2280 drives for MK1 - SATA and 2230 NVME drives for MK2. What is pictured above I believe is an MK2. This shot is with the entire back cover removed. Th...

Re: Very rare CF-33
I'm checking on this for you. I'd bet my engineers know.
Also, MK1 is the 2280 M.2 Sata only but the MK2 is the smaller 2230 drive but it is NVME.
Thanks!

Re: Autocad run on toughbook
Your best bet would be an MK2 FZ-55 for semi-rugged with 64GB RAM to get the best Iris GPU possible or an FZ-40 MK1 - same with 64GB RAM.
Also upgrade the stock slow SSD to a new Samsung 970 Pro NVME and that will help. Even with all that it'll be maybe a 4/10 as it's not designed to run AutoCAD.

Re: What is the model of CF-33?
The serial number starts with a 9. I wouldn't touch that with a 100' pole. You'd have to PAY ME MONEY to get me to use that... *ALL* CF-33's manufactured before 2020 had massive keyboard disconnect issues..... Literally THOUSANDS have had to be replaced under warranty. New motherboard and new keyboa...

Re: Autocad run on toughbook
Hi, I think the limiting factor will be the GPU. I'm not up to speed on all the latest models, but a 55 with the AMD Radeon Pro WX4150 would certainly do the trick in my opinion. Not even close if it's modern Autodesk/Cad/Inventor. Trust me on this lol. I manage a massive manufacturing company.
